Don’t worry
Vs 9-10
Don’t worry about money
Vs 11-16
Don’t worry, there will be people to help you, and people who will not heed you.

Vs 17-20
Don’t worry about push back. Keep pushing outward.

Giving
One positive: You can only give what you have been given.
First negative: You should only give what you have been given.
“I don’t always know when the Holy Spirit is, but I sure know when He aint.”
Second negative: Jesus turns water into wine, Sauls into Pauls, your negatives into positives.
Slavery into salvation

Approaching Jesus
The touch-two ways.
Standing, bowing, kneeling, crawling.
He asks for his daughter. She asks for herself.
He can talk about it. She can’t.
Immediate need. Long term need.
I ask for my daughter’s life back. I ask for my life back.
Incredible faith. More desperation than faith.
“Faith stretched thin is thick enough.”
Pride is an enemy of faith. Need is a great destroyer of pride.

The Old and The New
G Campbell Morgan, “This is Christ’s defense of the right of His people to be joyful; and that right to be joyful is the fact that He is with them. If that be true, then we have the right to be joyful always.”
As you go forward with Jesus there will always be someone or something pulling you backward and downward.
Psalm 40:1-3
Romans 10:9
